Ordo is a Latin word that translates to "order," "arrangement," or "sequence." It is a concept that is often associated with structure, organization, and hierarchy, and has been used in various fields, including religion, philosophy, and governance. In the context of design, "ordo" refers to the process of creating a well-structured and organized layout or composition, with careful consideration given to the placement and relationship of each element. It is a concept that emphasizes the importance of balance, harmony, and coherence in design, and encourages us to approach our work with a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to form and function.

JT Dampier

JT began his architectural studies at the University of South Florida in 2015, where he established interests in a variety of technologies and techniques. He continued to develop these interests with internships in Washington DC, Sarasota and Tampa, along with freelance work with various architects. JT served as the graduate teaching assistant to Markborough Endowed professor Jan Wampler. He has also been recognized with the AIA Bronze Medal, the SACD Digital award, the second place award in the Sarasota Waterfront Development Studio, and a nomination for the Advanced Portfolio Award. After graduating with his Masters of Architecture from the University of South Florida in 2020, JT has continued to progress his skills in a variety of fields through his time in architecture firms and personal projects. JT also returned to USF as the Intro to Digital Architecture professor. His main passions include residential architecture and visualization, along with photography and bike riding.

Emilia Ribadeneira

Emilia received a Master’s in Architecture and a Master’s in Urban and Community Design from the University of South Florida in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Her professional experience includes community design research, with a notable contribution to the development of the Hillsborough County Community Study for Vulnerability Assessment and Resiliency Planning; architectural design, working with firms in Florida, Ecuador, as well as freelance work in Hawaii and Boston; and as a professor at both the undergraduate and graduate level at the University of South Florida and St Petersburg College.

Emilia is dedicated to creating spaces that benefit communities and society. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for collaboration and the power of design to positively impact people's lives.

Delta

As Lead Barkitect of Ordo Studio, Delta always brings a fresh pawspective to our design team. She has a keen eye for fetching design and a very pawsitive attitude. From sniffing out innovative solutions to barking up the right tree for inspiration, Delta's architectural prowess knows no bounds. When she's not busy wagging her tail on site visits, you can find her fetching blueprints or digging into the latest trends in doghouse design. Delta graduated from Barkeley University and joined Ordo Studio in January of 2024
